Miami University students who achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average for second semester 2015-2016 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic performance.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2016 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

Ohio Wesleyan University held its 172nd commencement ceremony on May 8, 2016. The OWU Class of 2016 included 390 spring, summer, and fall graduates, with 65 cum laude, 43 magna cum laude, and 20 summa cum laude honorees. Coastal Carolina University has announced that 640 students made the President's honor list for high academic achievement for the 2016 Spring Semester.

BW's Symphonic Wind Ensemble embarked on a six-day performance tour in Washington, D.C. over 2016 Spring Break. They interacted with students from four diverse high schools through a variety of master classes and performances. The tour culminated with a performance at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Saginaw Valley State University was represented by 14 members of its Sigma Pi fraternity chapter in the NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation National Flag Football Championships in Pensacola, Florida, Jan. 2-4. The team, Theta-Beta, was selected to receive the Sportsmanship Award for the men's collegiate league.

More than 40 Ohio Wesleyan University student-scientists shared the results of their 10-week summer science research projects Sept. 21 at the university's 23rd annual Patricia Belt Conrades Summer Science Research Symposium. The students presented information and answered questions about their research findings, which were documented in posters outlining each project.
